  1. Donna Bowen Says:

Finally, something good on TV and their not airing it? The acting, the costumes, everything was extraordinarily good. Doesn’t speak well for our ignorant populous.

  2. Crystal Says:

We love the Tudors, please Showtime, keep it going with his children. How could you possibly stop with Henry?

  3. Irina Says:

For once there is a show that is based on substance, history, and requires at least some intelligence. It can only gain popularity and I hope that showtime will not stop with season IV.

  4. Lil Says:

Irina do you not realize that they didn’t live forever, the “Tudor” dynasty eventually died off after the death of Henry the VIII… regardless, it was a great show and I’m happy to see the end come.

  5. ERY Says:

LIL, THE TUDORS DID NOT DIE WITH HENRY HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF BLOODY MARY OR QUEEN ELIZABETH? EVEN KING JAMES IS HENRY’S NEPHEW. SO GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT BEFORE YOU REPLY TO OTHER MESSAGES.

  6. DO Says:

i really love THE TUDORS! i want 2 so bad 2 see the next season! its gonna be out sometime next year! how bad is that?! the publisher need 2 hurry up!

  7. Ariel Says:

I really hope that ShowTime does not stop with season 4. Many of us want to see them continue on with Edward, Jane, Mary, and finally, Elizabeth. Please keep it going!

  8. Coastalstorm25 Says:

    Ery,
I am glad you corrected Lil…but King James was Queen Elizabeths’ nephew and King Henry’s great nephew. I agree why couldn’t they keep on going with Mary and Elizabeth…what about little Edward and all the people behind his reign. I am estatic that The Tudors is available to watch by all. I have been inthralled with Their history since I can remember. Can’t wait for season 4 !!!

  9. Brad Says:

I agree with ALL the TUDOR fans…finally a series which has substance, style and historical value. The Tudors were a dynasty to be reckoned with; from Henry to James, (even cousin Jane Grey’s brief stint), Mary and Elizabeth. They shaped and formed the United Kingdom and this production is rich in temperament, attitude and the in general the whole \feel\ of the period and is something that should not just stop with Henry and Katherine Parr….bring on the rest of the clan!..:)) Come on SHOWTIME….:)

I have to say I am also impressed with the casting thus far….I thought it a bit of a \stretch\ when I heard that Joss Stone would play Anne of Cleves but I have to say I was truly taken with her performance….next to Katherine of Aragon, Anne of Cleves was the most humiliated of his wives notwithstanding the fact that she made of with a tidy sum after the annullment…but still..

    Anyway SEASON 4…HURRY IT UP!

  10. Brad Says:

oops! noticed that I mentioned James in the descent line….I meant Edward, then Lady Jane Grey..:)

    cheers

  11. Cindy Vaiz Says:

This truly is one of the BEST shows I have seen in quite sometime…
I had the Showtime 3 months free promotion with Directv but it finished & I IMMEDIATELY
ordered Showtime JUST for the Tudors… I Have followed the season from Season one/day obe at
my other home… It would be detrimental to end the series here as so MANY such as myself are Eagerly awaiting
what lies ahead through the exquisit performances portreyed by this wonderful cast & crew & showtime…
I very much look forward to the continuum.

  12. Esmeralda Says:

I am very upset that season 4 is the last season of The Tudors! It should have about 6 more seasons! It shouldn’t end at the scene of Henry’s death it should end at Elizabeth 1’s death. We need to see Edward rule England,We need to see Mary get married to Phillip of Spain,We also need to see more of Elizabeth’s life!BTWi know this is going to be random but I think Keira Knightley should be Catherine Parr(i’m sorry but that’s my opinion). But PLEASE SHOWTIME 6 MORE SEASONS PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

  13. Eva Kish Says:

So, is episode 8 the last one for season 3??? I thought there would be 12-13 episodes. Is season 3 done?

  14. Cindy Vaiz Says:

To me, the Tudors is a little slice of heaven here on earth.
I thoroughly enjoy the chivalry of the 15-17 th. Century. The communication, etiquette, realism, connection to family, dedication to ones self & each other. This shows gives us a birds eye view into
the past, without having to actually be there. We grew with the cast, built bonds with some & when the time came for death, wept with their loved ones. Felt the tyrant’s strength & weaknesses. There is too much ahead to conclude now. If I can be moved so profoundly by this show as others share the same feelings, I entrust that forces are diligently at work to salvage this production & airing.
I trust that The Tudors will be back on at its earliest avail…
Iron clad, Thank you for a show well done. From inception through broadcast.
    Ur faithful fan,
    Cindy M. Vaiz (Mexican/American)

  15. Alex Says:

Lil – Of course the dynasty ended soon after the death of Henry the Eighth, but he had three children, all of whom reigned long enough to provide substance for further seasons – their reigns were just as full of intrigue and drama as Henry’s.

  16. Elena Says:

I absolutly love the Tudors, I hope that the shows will continue with his children. Johnathan R Meyers is so freaken HOT! You really believe his acting, I have to watch August Rush over and over to assure myself that he is not really that big of an a-hole as he is portrayed in Tudors. Love the Tudors!!!!! *********

  17. Elizabeth Jennings Says:

I love the tudors and I cant wait till season 4. I am really looking forward to it!!

  18. Elizabeth Jennings Says:

I have read quite alot of history books about henry the eighth and they get the details just right in the tudors and all the actors play their roles beautifuly! I love it and i especialy like Queen Katherine of Aragon or is it Catherine?

  19. Elizabeth Jennings Says:

Compared to some of the complete rubbish shown on tv these days The Tudors is heaven. It is my favourite show of all time and i so cant wait till season 4 but it wont be on till 2010!! The Tudors is probably one of the best documenteries ever!!!!!:-)

  20. Danielle Says:

It is not very often that I come across intelligent and thought provoking film. The Tudors is a brilliant portrayal of the Reformation Era and the court of Henry VIII. I have to say that it is by far my favorite show to date and is the closest to history than anything about the Tudors I have seen. I was dissapointed though that the writers of the show would choose to fly so quickly through Henry’s life. It has left many with a desire to see what will become of his heirs and leaves nothing short of an absolute begging to the Showtime producers: PLEASE, don’t end it with season 4!!! Please continue to give us something of substance to watch!!! I adore this period in history and have spent many long hours researching it for my own writing… please continue to make the lives of these historical characters come alive. It is nice to witness another age performed and portrayed so beautifully. Now I can only hope someone of importance at Showtime is reading this!!!! :)

  21. SanMarie39 Says:

Ireally wish aso Showtime keeps going, please don’t stop at season 4,you guy have a loyal fan base, I love to see also when Prince Edward take over also all the way up to Queen Elizabeth. I love the clothes and how you guys bring the characters to life for me. Showtime could really go a little bit after Queen Elizabeth life.Showtime keep up the good work and please let us know whats going on. SanMarie

  22. Elizabeth Jennings Says:

Yes please dont stop at season 4, keep going thorugh the desenents of henry the eighth!!

  23. Shaana Says:

i think that showtime should keep going with Henry’s children. I find it facinating that edward could run a country being so young. and the rivalry between mary and Elizabeth. and then shakespeare enters the picture around elizabeth’s reign. That makes for some good tv. perhaps after some time they could make a series about King Louis XV, Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette. i would definately watch that :)

  24. Candice Says:

The only reason I watch this show is because I hoped in eventually seeing Mary and Elizabeth’s reign. With the right actress a show about Elizabeth could do even better.

  25. Elizabeth Jennings Says:

    Yes it certainly could.

  26. chai Says:

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE keep The Tudors going! I don’t subscribe to showtime but watch the show on pay per view in my hotel room every time I travel for work – every episode until I’m caught up. I haven’t enjoyed tv in a long time until the Tudors came along. There is so much more of the story to tell – all fascinating – after Henry VIII.

  27. Cassi Says:

Elizabeth Jennings: It’s Catherine, the traditional way to spell the name. I really hope they keep the show going with Mary and Elizabeth, it would be a shame to neglect the importance they had on England’s history.

  28. Elizabeth Gade Says:

I agree with everyone on the idea of more seasons following the reign of his descendants. But; how cool would it be to have a flashback season on his father’s reign? They could show how the Tudors got the crown, Henry’s controlling grandmother and Princess Margaret( well, I guess they’d have to switch her name to Mary.) leaving for Scotland. I’d also love to see Catherine when she was still pretty and married to Arthur.

  29. Stephanie Says:

What isn’t beautiful about this show? The sets, costumes, and cast are immaculate, and the story line is extremely dramatic – and real! I too submit my vote that the Tudors not end with season 4. While a flashback portion of Henry VII’s reign would be wonderful, I’d be most ecstatic to see the story continue with the 9 day queen and the entire squabble between Mary and Elizabeth after Henry’s demise (Elizabeth in the tower, etc… and the reason behind the “Bloody Mary” nickname!). I can only hope that SHOWTIME won’t deprive us of a 5th season! After that, I’ll be satisfied – maybe ;-)

  30. Maria Says:

The Tudors is awesome!!! They should definitely keep it going!

  31. Ken Says:

The reason season 4 will be the final one probably has very little to do with Showtime. The Tudors is one of their most watched shows—-and they wouldn’t want to end it, anymore than they’d want to end Dexter. The problem is with the cast. J. R. Meyers and other cast members do not want to commit to doing the show for that long. It keeps them from pursuing other opportunities (movies, etc). I’m surprised Meyers contracted for 4 seasons—–he’s much in demand for movie roles that make him a lot more money.

  32. sonia Says:

i agree the tudors did not end with henry!!! i want to see edward mary and elizabeth. but what about the stuarts???? they succeeded the tudors and had just as much history. and lets not forget oliver cromwell! please dont end this at season four… there is so much intriguing historic material i would love to see on t.v.
as opposed to the mindless crap we are usually bored with!!!

  33. Vicky Short Says:

    The Tudors has been fantastic!!!!
But I feel ShowTime are cutting their own heads off by ending at season 4! Its such a shame! Edward, Jane, Elizabeth, and Mary painted such a rich tapestry between them, and they were all TUDORS TOO!! What about Edwards untimely death? and him leaving his throne to 16 years old Jane Grey because he wanted to keep His Kingdom protestant? What about Mary who had poor Jane beheaded? Mary’s persecution of all prodestants and even throwing her own sister Elizabeth in the Tower? Mary’s phantom pregnancy which turned out to be cancer that killed her? What about Cathine Parr and Thomas Seymore? Seymore tried to seduce the young Elizabeth, even at one point cutting her gown to shredds, and Cathrine Parr’s own death on the child bed? Elizabeth finally on the throne, and her heartbreaking romance with Robert Dudley, and her refusal to marry anyone because of the horrors she had seen as a child! Please give us our Virgin Queen, Showtime!!!!!!!!!!

  34. Pat Says:

This is for all of you Know-It-All people on here who keep telling everyone else about the relationships of these people. James I / VI of Scotland/England and Queen Elizabeth I of England were 1st cousins twice removed. Elizabeth I of England and Mary, Queen of Scots were 1st cousins once removed, and Elizabeth I of England and James V of Scotland were 1st cousins. Henry VIII’s sister, Margaret Tudor, was married to James V of Scotland.

  35. Irina Says:

Pat- I guess now you’re one of those “know-it-all-people.”

  36. nalini satnarain Says:

I can’t wait to see season 4 of the tudors…what a long wait…season 4 will start spring 2010…it would be a shame to end the tumors at season 4…and there’s definitely more history that follows! Let’s see…

  37. nalini satnarain Says:

Lol…I mean the tudors not tumors…my cell automatically corrected tudors to tumors!

  38. Anne672 Says:

I agree with the majaority with regards to the fact that showtime should continue the show beyond Henry VIII. However, if they showtime considered this wouldnt they have begun with his father Henry VII (the first Tudor king???).

Also would like to point out that this series has a blatent disregard for historical accuracy, for those that assume that this show is as close to history as you can get then you are wrong. Times, dates, names, ages of characters, events etc are embelleshed or left out altogether. The show is sexed up and overdramatized which is probably why I love it. I watch the Tudors not to gain any further insight into this period in history (or the Tudor reign) but for pure entertainment, that is loosely based on historical figures and events.

  39. Anne672 Says:

Also would like to correct ‘Pat’. You mention that “Elizabeth I of England and James V of Scotland were 1st cousins. Henry VIII’s sister, Margaret Tudor, was married to James V of Scotland.” maybe it was a typo

Margaret Tudor was Elizabeth I AUNT therefore making James IV of Scotland her UNCLE by marriage.
Therefore their son James V was Elizbeth’s COUSIN

never understood the once/twice removed stuff. I always refer to these people as my second cousins.

  40. Emma Says:

on the 8th of july i filmed an episode of the tudors in a big church in bray and it was such an amazing experience. jrm was there and for the whole day he was chatting to our choir even though were only young. i cant wait till season 4 starts and my episode is near the end of march 2010!

  41. maria jose Says:

I am from ARGENTINA and I love THE TUDORS and I also want it to last ñpmger than season 4 but I do not think it will go on… the creator of the show has already tell the story of elizabeth there are 2 movies that he did telling her incredible life so there would not`make sense to work a series of something he has already work with….sorry for the spelling!!! I speack litlle english!!!

  42. Janeyanne Says:

With each episode JRM inhabited his role to the point that he is HEnry VIII. What an awesome actor. He’l have to play someone completely different to reclaim himself again.
Anne of Cleves wasn’t humiliated, she left the marriage in the same state as before- it would’ve been far worse had he forced himself on her- and, she appeared not to have been too happy with him either. She was respected for not making a fuss about the annulment, and lived in England the rest of her life as an informal member of the royal family;the King’s Sister.

  43. Horatio Richardson Says:

Brilliant series just annoyed it was only 8 episodes, but iam extremly happy to learn that there will be a 4th series.
Theres nothing historically accurate about this series, and i dont think it was meant to be. Its like a massive soap opera set in a particular with some historically accurate people.

BTW does anybody know why Henry is still a relatively fit guy when he was already a fat bastard by the time he married Jane Seymour?

  44. Paigeroo Says:

I love this show! I have a hundred books about the Tudor period..however, I just felt it necessary to correct a comment on here..this show really is not accurate. It does an amazing job creating King Henry VIII’s life into a story, but in reality, he was grossly fat and old by the time he married Katherine Howard. Also, Charles Brandon would have been extrememly old by this point, and his second wife was only about 15 when he married her, so a lot of the information has been crammed into these seasons without any real historical visual facts. STILL love this show, love the actors, and want more than anything to see it continued through edward, mary, jane, and elizabeth!

  45. Paigeroo Says:

oh and ps. Anne of Cleves was humiliated the day Henry met her. He complained she looked like a horse and smelled terrible. He shouted this to his entire council and court. She did wonderful by accepting the divorce, and that did gain her a lot of respect, but she deserved it. He had humiliated her completely by not evem consumating their marriage.

  46. nikki Says:

I luv the Tudors and i cant wait for season 4,plz showtime dont end it at season 4 do sumthng for the Tudors fans.Maybe do abt his descendants im sure Henry has them,he had a son and daughters plz dnt end this show.

  47. Eve Says:

I am eagerly awaitin 2 see Season 4. And I do agree wit everybody here that the show should go on to portray the reigns of King Henry’s heirs which were intriguing in their own rights. Among historical movies that have been produced in the past, this is by far the most enthralling, realistic, as well as cut-throat in terms of drama portrayed on screen!
PLEASE PRODUCE MORE SEASONS FOR ‘THE TUDORS’ SHOWTIME!!!

  48. Jennifer Says:

i can’t wait for the season 4 of the tudors next year i really ejnoyed season 1,2 and 3 especially jonothon rhys meyers portray of henry the VIII its fantastic and natalie dormer played a fantstic portray of anne boleyn i also love tudor history its my favorite history so it right up my alley and the costume were beautiful i look forward to a fantastic season 4 keep up the great work and maybe even make a series of henry the VIII’s heirs and there own struggles to become rulers in there own right and there reigns.

  49. wendy Says:

When does the new season start?

  50. cleo Says:

hiya! i absolutely LOVE this show! jrm did a wonderful job as henry VIII…(ok so maybe he is a fit henry VIII) everytime he does his ruthlessness i feel myself shrinking in terror! a very credible actor! i miss natalie dormer in season 3…a beautiful portrayal of anne boleyn. joss stone came out surprising…she played anne of cleves pretty well!

like the rest of the tudor fans…please go on to henry’s children. they are tudors after all :)

p.s. i heard showtime might be doing a series on the borgias…am not sure…but i think that would be interesting too :)

  51. Ashley Says:

I honestly did not expect to get wrapped up in this series. Less than a month later I’ve watch every single episode and I’m starving for more. Bravo to Showtime and the actors that made this historically loose show believable. Kudos to the writers!

  52. Ryzal Othman Says:

I am from Asia and im so amazed with the storyline, acting, costumes and everythings. Excellent.

  53. Jeannie Says:

Yup, bravo to the writers. Enhanced the history with great actors and actress especially Johnathan R Meyers. Historically, Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn were not as good looking for today’s views!!!

  54. Tonya Says:

I can’t wait to watch season 4……..hopefully it will air at the beginning of 2010 so I don’t have to wait so long.

  55. Princess Anne! Says:

Noooooo! It cannot end with Season four! History didn’t end with Henry! I INSIST YOU CONTINUE MAKING THIS SERIES! Must congrat Johnathan Ryhs Meyers – I didn’t like his acting at first, but he grew on me and played HRH rather well – indeeeed! I too didn’t think I’d be hooked – but I have neglected all my home duties to be a dedicated and loyal viewer of this and much over download time…. your grace, OFF WITH HER HEAD! (now back to reality!)

  56. Princess Anne! Says:

Oh I must say – Henry’s bff (Charles) is quite a honey.

  57. Princess Anne! Says:

OMG I have to write more! Don’t you just love how the ‘ladies’ conducted themselves – though life amongst the ’sexes’ were not that different to what / how we are today! Only more educated (we hope) and of course there is technology but when it comes to ’social interaction’ and raging hormones & testosterones, my, my…
But my god life was so unfair and unjust back then. making up rules as they feel fit and all that ‘court’ crap – just to justify their consciences…Grown men having tanties and just because they don’t want it, make up a reason to get rid of the b*tch. Life isn’t that different now is it!? Ok, off my soap box – it’s a TV series of life back then. Imagine if we could all go back into time – what would you do and how would you be if you were King / Queen! I love it! Thank you HRH Showtime.

  58. Princess Anne! Says:

And we still fight over religion.

  59. monika Says:

i love this is the gretest movie i ever seen i tink that they souldn’t stop here they must continue whit mary and elizabeth and then to make another series whit another king from 15-16 century plz i reasly need to see the story of every famous kings of england is very interesting and love to see how people lived in that ages i love that century and i want to see another series whit another famous king cuz loved to see the tudors !!! plz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 make another movie!!!

  60. divasabrina Says:

love it love it I hope showtime is reading all of these comments and not ignore them and continue the series with the kids

  61. Sandscript Says:

So… therefore a direct challenge to the Producers of the Tudors. If so many people cry for more, if the series has been so popular and successful, and if such a rich depth of material for a sequal exists, what justification do you put forward for NOT making it? Yes, Henry was a tremendously important historical figure and deeply attractive subject matter for a tv series – but surely Elizabeth was even more so.

  62. Laura Says:

It’s stupid that the drama is called, ‘The Tudors’ when they only focus on one particular Tudor. They should keep it going until a climax in Elizabeth’s life or her death because it will be really interesting to see a decent portrayal of the Tudors for once.
Edward, Jane and Marys’ reign would last about one season and the rest would be mainly Elizabeth. They could easily fit loads more seasons in and get loads more money.

  63. Britney Says:

I am obsessed with Tudor History as well as the other royals from that time period. Really Showtime, Must you tease us? You have a perfect hit on a silver platter siting in front of you and you are just going to throw it to the dogs!? Have you lost your ever loving minds! Continue on with Mary and Elizabeth and why not touch on Mary of Scots or Catherine De Medici? Create a spinoff called the Royals or something.

  64. César Luna Says:

Hi everyone I’m from Mexico, and just today the 3 season has ended, I could have seen it before at the computer, but I like to keep the emotion and wait until People and Arts in Latin America shows it. I agree most of the comments on this page, I read them all, I like to read different opinions of the show and also to see how some people makes some corrections from other’s people comments, so we can all learn about it, jajajaja, anyway I’m sad since Ann Bolein died, cause I think she was the best, and also very surpraised as the rest, only 8 chapters.

I cant wait to see more chapters, I dont care to wait, I also love DEXTER it drives me crazy as much as THE TUDORS.

If anyone has something to replay or say, I’ll be pleased to read it =)

  65. Deanna Says:

I wasn’t really that “into” the story of Henry VIII (Not a big history buff if you know what I mean). I’ve seen the PBS show “the 6 wives of Henry the 8th” and enjoyed it well enough but, it wasn’t something I would consider “spectacular” by any stretch of the imagination. Anyway, one night I was channel surfing and came accross the end of season one…just as season 2 was begining. Let me tell you I was absolutely hooked from the word go. Now,when I say hooked, I really mean obsessed. I of course, had to go to “on demand” immediately after seeing the season finale and watch the entire first season, then was fortunate enough to watch season 2 in sequence. Now, when I say obsessed, I mean I was intentionally going to sleep in my recliner on Saturday nights so I would wake up soon after midnight to catch the newest episode. It’s quite sad, really. So I watch the entire second season and was “Jonesing” for season three. I found out it was going to be nearly 6 months or more before season 3 was going to start and I was stunned to say the least. When season 3 finally started it was an exciting day for me but, to be honest after watching just a few episodes I got the feeling that that the writers didn’t put as much thought into writing this episode as they did with the previous 2. I just hope they put as much effort in writing season 4 as they did with 1 & 2. And, if showtime can continue the TUDOR dynasty with Henry’s son, Mary and Elizabeth…all the better.

  66. Ossama Says:

    Can’t wait for season 4 !!!

  67. Carolyn Says:

I love the tudors. i also want the show to go on with edward, jane grey, mary and elizabeth.

  68. Nina Says:

    Hiya,

It’s so sad to hear it will be over after season for, Please make some more seasons. I agree on showing the regent of Edward and mary of the live of Elisabeth I. Please don’t stop. The show is to great for that.

  69. Cassandra Says:

They have to end it with Henry. They never gave Charles Brandon a daughter who became the mother of Jane Grey, Queen for 9 days before Mary. They couldn’t simply skip that part of history and if they continued they would have to skip Mary’s battle for the thrown. I love this show and would hate to see it canceled but they can’t continue.

  70. babypook Says:

King James 1 was not Elizabeth’s nephew. He was Mary Stuart’s son, and Mary Stuart was Elizabeth’s second cousin.

The entire monarchy can trace their roots to before the Norman conquest. In some manner or form, they are all related.

I agree with everyone who says they’d LOVE to see the continuation of the Tudors, with his son Edward, and his daughters Mary and Elizabeth.

    Puleeze!

  71. weffy devlin Says:

its not often we get decent television. incredible acting, riveting storyline and characters that just leap out of the screen. Micheal Hirst you have made history come alive. OK so there is a touch of hollywood masking some actual realities, but what you have created here is something really special. Please don’t let it end. Continue.
Edward. Lady Jane Grey. Elizabeth’s early childhood and her abuse by Seymour. Elizabeth’s life. There is so much to explore. No one has done what you have done Mr Hirst.
Your intelligent screenplay and mature actors are a credit to your vision.
    Please continue.

  72. rita Says:

would love to see a series about the medieval period of England, basically those years beginning 1066.

  73. Karen Says:

Please, please don’t end with Season IV! I have never been as hooked on a series and it’s history to boot. Like everyone before me has said, there are more Tudor personalities to explore. Please don’t let us down!

  74. Bowman Says:

I was already disappointed when this series was first aired that they weren’t going to tell the story of the Tudors before Henry VIII. What about the family’s struggle through the Wars of the Roses? What about Henry VII and his rise to seize England’s throne? Then we would further understand Henry VIII’s constant obsession for an heir.
I agree that The Tudors should not just be about Henry VIII. There’s still the story of Edward VI and Lady Jane Grey. And what about two of the most powerful women in our history, Mary and Elizabeth? Surely their story should be told with the same vigour and spice as what the current series has given to Henry VIII.
An excellent series. Please don’t stop at Henry VIII. The series is called \The Tudors\. So please tell the story of \The Tudors\.

  75. Jana Says:

What a great series_O_ Plz make many more, this stuff is wonderful!!!

  76. Tracy Nicholls Says:

I’m watching the series on DVD again as I type, please oh please keep the programme going. It is so well made, the costumes and settings are extraordinary and it truly brings our english heritage to life. I have never understood why so many women fell in love with Henry, but this series has managed to display this along with the fierce side of Henry that all feared. It would be great to see the story continue after Henry’s legacy.

  77. cindy Says:

the tudors is amazing! so glad to have this kind of show available, unlike any others shows today, this is just so great, this is a “serious” tv shows. amazing! substance, values and all, it’s very well made, i mean this is the kind of shows that people can admire and respect. i hope they won’t stop airing it. can’t wait for season 4!

  78. nina Says:

people…we all love the show…but i think the producers of the show actually wants to highlight the life of Henry…not his children…anyway…it will be nice if they come up with new seasons that shows mary and elizabeth as the main characters…

hi I am in total agreement about the history side of things but it might start interest I also remember a T.V. series called the six wives of Henry the 8th (many years ago) with Keith Michell and Elizabeth 1 which starred Glenda Jackson. It’s showing my age think I’ll leave it there :)

OMG! is this not a sexy amazing awesome 3 seasons of the incredible tudors?! I totally love it! It has inspired me to read up on the whole time period of the tudors! the girls look all stunning in their long elegant dresses! and hey guys in tights…im sure we could bring that back? ;) I also wish it could be carried on! im sure it could be but it doesnt matter what the title is caled, come on, didnt we all see prison break, yeah 1st season they broke out, second season they were on the run, 3rd season they were workign again, nothing to do with breaking out of prison as they had already broken out 2 episodes ago! hehe! so I say the tudors should keep going and show what really did happen to his children etc. Rather interesting i dare say! :) i say keep it going! woop! :P

  81. LEIGH Says:

Um….I think going on with Mary and Elizabeth wouldn’t be amiss. Those were some very dramatic times….we’re Protestant, we’re Catholic, we’re Protestant…..the flip flopping among the royals would make for an interesting addition. Also, Elizabeth would make a very interesting royal to follow….her Virgin act was not so virginal :P and she was Britain’s greatest ruler….

  82. Christina Says:

I too would love to see the Tudors continue beyond season 4. There is so much that happened after Henry’s ruling. Maybe we can all put a request straight to Showtime and see what will happen :)

im with everyone who wats this series to continue, brilliant TV at last. maybe someone who knows how could set up a website for Tudors fans and see if we cant convince the producers to make more of these fascinating historical programmes.
Elizabeth 1 was the most truely amazing queen, wouldnt a show showing her rise to the throne be fantastic, especially with all the fallouts she had with her sister Bloody Mary.
    Keeo it running PLZ>>>>

  84. Hani Says:

I love love the show , and i hope they never stop , it is kind of educational especially if you lack the information about our past Kings history That of Edward the 8th and so on and on . I was not that satisfied with the ending of the third season cause i expected 3 more episode for the finale of that season .BUT TUDORS : KEEP IT UP , THE BEST SHOW EVER ON SHOW-TIME

  85. Annie Says:

I have been following your series of The Tudors since the beginning and enjoy it very much. This is the sole reason I signed on to Showtime, however, if you decide to cancel this series at anytime, I promise I will never subscribe to “SHOWTIME”.

I can watch this series until the death of King Henry VIII and beyond, because it is enjoyable, historical and well done, with dynamic actors.

I certainly endorse this programming and will continue to do so through Facebook and other media………

Thank you and I hope you take heed SHOWTIME!

  88. Annie Says:

Does anyone know when episode 4 will be available? Or when it comes out on the telly? Cant wait to see it!

  89. simone Says:

i have always enjoyed the tudor period, but was a little dissapointed that you went from 1 wife a season to 2, i do really hope that you will continue it throught the lives of his children and the fight between them to claim their kingdom,
