  2. mo Says:

thanks for the spoiler emilie !

  3. Lady Ashley Says:

Mo-how is there a spoiler?? LMAO This is history! It’s already happened! hahaha It has been read!

I believe that Jane was the best thing for him. She had him whipped. Made him take care of his kids too!! lol She was the boss! I think I liked Jane more than Anne….

What a wonderful show! Only one more season :( I wish there were more…maybe a made up extended story =) lol
-Thanks so much for posting these.

  4. Mo Says:

yah i guess your right, sorry, but that would be true for those who managed to do some reading into british history

unfortunatly i havn’t, havn’t got the time and for years have been praying for a show that would give me the just of it, yes it sounds like i am very lazy :) but there’s just no time, plus my imagination couldn’t have matched the show in a million years.

to me this is like watching lost !

    it is a wounderful show…

  5. Kristie Says:

Yet another excellent episode! 6 more episodes to go for season 3! I can’t wait to see them all! I have read the history of Henry the VIII but it’s so much better watching all the great looking actors. As you can see by photos of the real King Henry he wasn’t much of a looker! I can’t wait until episode 5!!

  6. Jennifer Says:

I wonder when they will show Katherine Parr? Will they make a 4th season with her in it? They would have to if they want to potray all the wives he had. I can’t wait to see Catherine Howard. Since she was Anne Boleyns cousin… it should be interesting. I wonder if they would make her have the affair with Culpepper?

Thank you so much for showing the episodes since I dont have Showtime. It’s my fav show. :)

  7. Elizabeth d'Anjou Says:

I disagree with making up an extended story. The creators could have pursued the series into the reigns of Edward, Lady Jane Grey, Mary and Elizabeth… indeed in this series many scenes with Mary and Elizabeth do set things up for their future stories… but it seems they are only going to go to the end of Henry’s reign. They also could have started the show with Henry VII but they didn’t. “The Tudors” is really a misnomer, because the series isn’t about the Tudor dynasty at all, it’s about “Henry VIII & his Six Wives”.

On the contrary, Jane was well known for her total obedience and submission to Henry, particularly after he warned her to remember her predecessor and that her place as his wife was to be seen and not heard. Anne in contrast had lengthy discussions with the king about matters of governance of the realm and powerfully influenced him on such matters, and also she stood up to him about his mistresses, refusing to accept the social convention at that time which admittedly was very male-dominated and anti-femininism. Jane DID encourage Henry to reconcile with his two daughters, but it was no joke that Henry would have got rid of Mary had she not had the sense to sign that declaration, whether or not Jane protested. Also, Jane’s ability to be generous to Mary and Elizabeth was probably influenced by the fact that, as far as Henry was concerned at that time, both were to permanently remain illegitimate, and by law it was to be Jane’s children that would be his legal heirs. At court Jane was well-known to be ill-educated, having been brought up with a traditional English gentleman’s daughter’s education – i.e. weaving embroidery and the like – and she could only read and write English a little. The tutors in the Seymour household gave her brothers the education, Jane went without. Anne in contrast was sent by her father to apprentice in the entourages of the great royal ladies of Europe, the sisters and queens of the French king, and learnt English, French, and Latin fluently, was most accomplished as both a dancer and musician on several instruments, and highly erudite on matters ecclesiastical, philosophical, and historical, and at court was very well known for her sharp wit and intelligent conversation. Many at court found Jane’s virtue highly questionable, seeing as she was pushing 30 and had spent many years at Henry’s licentious court, including foreign ambassadors, and certainly she showed no qualms whatsoever about carrying on an affair with Henry, and then marrying him with indecent haste whilst Anne’s body was still warm. It was also well known at court and amongst the foreign ambassadors that Jane was coached by her father and brothers as to exactly what to say and how to act towards the king, and that she agreed to manipulate her way to the position of queen, knowing that several people would be executed in order for this to happen.

  8. Chrissy Says:

Thanks! Did episode 5 already go out in Britain?

  9. nr Says:

i read somewhere that there are just going to be eight episodes in this season….is this true??

  10. p4chen Says:

  11. Sweden Says:

Awsome episode!!! Love the Tudors :)
Help me pleace! I can’t wait fore episode 5…. Does anyone know where I can finde it?

  12. nr Says:

does this season have only 8 episodes?? i read it somewhere…please reply

  13. Lady Ashley Says:

    It’s all good Mo! =)

Everyone’s entitled to say what every they want! I know I did! lol & some people had other ideas that i didnt care to read. blah blah blah….it’s called entertainment Elizabeth not an “accurate thorough history lesson”. ;)

  14. Jessica Says:

I think the actress who played Jane did a very superb job! I think she is the best portrayal of Jane Seymour I have ever seen in all the films I’ve watched about Henry VIII and his wives. It’s too bad she won’t be in anymore episodes : (

  15. ebony Says:

i think that showtime should continue the series after henry viii and show the story of elizabeth and mary, and then finally elizabeth. i think it’s only right , especially with the scene from this episode of elizabeth and mary. i thought it was so cute how mary thought boys were more important, but elizabeth didn’t.

  16. Faye Says:

Thanks for posting the links, here in the UK we won’t get The Tudors on tv until August! Episode 5 is not yet aired in the US so I think that’s when it will next be uploaded here, we’ll have to wait until the weekend!

As far as I know, Showtime have said they are making a 4th season and it will be the last one. Jane and Anne of Cleves are supposed to both be in Season 3, and Catherine Howard and Katherine Parr in Season 4.

  17. Elle Says:

This season is so boring. I’m sorry, but after Natalie Dormer/Anne Boleyn, everything else is anti-climactic. And Jane is a total disappointment.

  18. nr Says:

does this season have 8 episodes??

  19. dixie Says:

Is this going to be able on megavideo any time soon? I can not make either links work :(

  20. Elle Says:

Jane’s character was so undeveloped, I could feel no attachment to her. On the other hand, I cried and cried at Anne’s execution. I felt like I “knew” her. It’s such a shame, I was really looking forward to the “Jane” story line. Very disappointed in her lack of character development. She was in, what, 10 scenes???

  21. Katcomix Says:

I kind of giggled to see that (Queen Jane Dies) was a spoiler. Then again with how most today’s kids they’d write answers from this show on a test rather then real history.
I was sad to see that Jane was only in a few episodes instead of at least 10.
To be honest I was expecting the show to end with Anne’s death, and Jane’s wedding, but that’s just me. Then again I would have made it at least 80% accurate. Sorry but in Season 1 when his sister was married to the king of Portugal, I think I nearly had a nerd rage moment. So so wrong!!

  22. Elle Says:

Yes, it appears this season has 8 episodes. Sure could have used the extra 2 episodes to develop Jane and Anne’s characters a little more. Very disappointed in this season. Blech. Oh, and writers? Just want to let you know Lady Salisbury and her family were actually executed later on..too bad they had to borrow from the future to jazz up this season.

  23. Contessa Borgia Says:

Katcomix- Was not Princess Mary married to the practically decrepit king of France instead? I remmeber watching that an thinking, WTH?! What would it had cost them to say Hey! Tis’ be the King of France, and call it a day. LOL…I wish I knew why the writers decided to do that but oh well there’s always going to be inaccuracies in history when it comes to television for the sake of entertainment as Lady Ashley mentioned earlier.
Either way I’ve learnt to really like the show and the actors. But will it kill them to get some more regular everyday looking folks to act in this, it would be nice to see some average looking ppl instead of everyone from king to herald look like a Vouge/GQ model. ^_^ Hey! Just a thought! lol

  24. mollziki Says:

Good episode! I feel so terrible for Charles Brandon though – he is forced to do all of these terrible things for the king, causing his marriage to start going down the pan, whilst henry is gallivanting around court ordering quail’s eggs and generally being a bum.

  25. EM Says:

Elizabeth D’anjou, I don’t believe that Anne of Cleve was any prize either, and her father was a sociopath. Really, to be a lady at court meant to abdicate your morals. The men turned to them instead of searching for prostitutes outside the castle. A man had to be crazy to allow his daughter to serve at court!

As for Charles Brandon, he made the choice to obey the King and not his conscience. Of course, had he done otherwise,he’d have ended up like Sir Thomas Moore
Henry must of been a bit off, with his constant out with the old in with the new business. Seems he didn’t know how to be honest with himself and accept and own up to his mistakes.Had he been a commoner, he simply would’ve had no friends and been called the untrustworthy, fair weather mentally unstable man that he was. Unfortunately, he was a king.

This show does take a lot of liberties with history for the sake of entertainment, so this can’t be taken as a historically accurate history lesson. (Princess Margaret never married the King of Portugal, but a French noble.)

BTW, who is this Lord Francis, he looks like a damned pirate. He seems so out of place there. Did he really exist?

JRM is an AWESOME Henry the 8th. This cast is fantastic

  26. EM Says:

Also, I’m a north american,so I really don’t get this obsessive anti-Christian class bias. Why was a commoner disdained just for being ‘low’born’? What is so great about the nobles? Did they found the nation? I don’t get this treataing people better and giving them preference simply because of the family they were born into.

  27. Nessa Says:

Hi, i`ve watched all eps up to this one withought any problems. But now it tells me that the vid is removed due to infringment. Pls, fix it, coz i wanna c )))

  28. ash Says:

Why wont this episode work? I’ve watched the others with no problems.

  29. Damitra Says:

EM – Princess Margaret was actually married 3 times to Scottish men (her first husband being the King James IV of Scotland). It was Princess Mary who married a french man although he was King Louis XII and not a mere nobleman.

Also with regards to the class issue… It’s a bit like when America had slaves, they were considered of little to no importance because they were “inferior” beings. Yes it was wrong but that’s how it was back then. To be honest little has changed, if you come from a powerful/wealthy family these days you’re still treated better and with more respect than the common man. And that holds true no matter where you live in the world!

  30. Sarah Says:

none of these are working for me is their a reason for this. I have gotten into this show and I am loving it. Now I cant watch this Episode 4 season 3. please find something. :(

    thanks

  31. Yo Says:

  34. Ivana (from Brazil) Says:
